Our Gulkand dry fruit laddus are a treat for the taste buds. We call these dry fruit laddus Grandma’s tastiest and healthiest protein bar. These healthy laddus are made with dry fruits and are sweetened with Dates, Raisins and Gulkand. The mild sweetness makes it a perfectly delightful sweet dish.

These laddus are made with Dry Fruits, Dates, Raisins, Gulkand and free grazing Desi Cow (A2) ghee. We use Gulkand for sweetening and flavouring the laddus. Our dry fruit laddus do not have any added refined sugar. The Gulkand is made by natural sun drying process and sweetened with Misri.

The laddus are coated with Rajgira seeds also called as Ramdana or popped Amaranth.

Did you know Amaranth grain is called wonder grain or Super food? Traditionally grown in India, it is of the same category of superfoods as Quinoa. Hard working farmers in India started growing Amaranth grain for its great powers and felt grateful to God for its benefits. Different regions in India named it differently. Some called it Ramdana (God’s grain) or Rajgira (Royal grain).

The Gulkand used in our dry fruit laddus is a luxurious sun-cooked preserve of Damask rose petals. It is known for its healing properties as a coolant. Gulkand is considered as “Rasayana” which is a Sanskrit term for “tonic”. Gulkand is a tonic which helps in alleviating heat specific health issues. Our Gulkand is 100% natural with zero artificial flavours, preservatives and chemicals. It is made using Misri.

In many ancient civilisations, Misri was known for its wide gamut of healing properties. Traditionally in India, Misri has been used as a holy offering both to the Gods & Goddesses.
