Sprouted Jowar or Sorghum Flour

Sprouting is a healthy way of eating Jowar or Sorghum. We bring you healthy, gluten free Jowar or Sorghum millet flour made from organic soaked and sprouted Sorghum.
When we sprout Jowar, we convert a dormant seed into a live plant. Jowar, like other millets, contains Phytates, Phytic Acid and Tannins which are nutrition inhibitors. These anti nutrients can cause stomach ache, bloating and constipation.
Anti-nutrients can bind to certain dietary minerals and make it very hard for our body to digest & absorb these minerals. Sprouting Jowar causes increased activities of hydrolytic enzymes, improvements in the contents of total proteins, certain essential amino acids, fat, total sugars and B-group vitamins. It decreases the dry matter, starch and anti-nutrients. Sprouting makes it easy to digest Jowar.

The healthy flours of Jowar and Bajra: I had been reading a lot about benefits of these grains, and also used to try them in between. However was not sure of what I was actually getting. What I received from you looked pure and fresh. The fact that it wasn’t sitting in a shelf for a month or two, was a big relief, for I do believe that grains like any other food items does change if kept sitting too long, once it’s ready to be used. That fact that it is sprouted, means extra nutrition, so a big big plus. Thank you for taking care in your research and process, and taking care we receive healthy nutrition.

I used the sprouted Jowar flour along with wheat flour. I added warm to hot water and I had supersoft dough. The rotis were wonderful when hot. With stuffed eggplant they were wonderful.
